About Course

SQL

SQL (Structured Query Language) is a programming language used to manage and manipulate relational databases. In this course, you will learn the fundamental concepts of SQL, including data querying, data manipulation, and database design. You will also gain hands-on experience in writing SQL statements to retrieve, insert, update, and delete data from databases.

The course will cover topics such as:

  • Relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • SQL syntax and basic data types
  • Querying data with SELECT statements
  • Filtering and sorting data with WHERE and ORDER BY clauses
  • Joining tables to retrieve data from multiple tables
  • Aggregating and grouping data with functions such as COUNT, AVG, MAX, MIN, and SUM
  • Modifying data with INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements
  • Creating and modifying database structures with DDL (Data Definition Language) statements
  • Implementing data constraints with CHECK, UNIQUE, PRIMARY KEY, and FOREIGN KEY constraints
  • Using subqueries to retrieve data from nested queries

By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of SQL and its use in relational databases, and you will be able to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios.
